Hummingbird: Google reveals Its new algorithm On 15th Birthday

Google has reveals it’s new algorithm “Hummingbird” on its 15th birthday this Thursday. The algorithm had its effects from about a month that has effected about 90% of the search traffic, but it was revealed yesterday. Previously, Caffeine was algorithm that was updated by Google back in 2010.
This new algorithm has been created so as to keep up with longer & more advanced search queries that come through Google. Google is working to create a algorithm in which it will accommodate the queries in the form what a user might ask their friends off the internet.
Amit Singhal, senior VP at Google quoted that, “You should not be spending your time searching, you should be spending your time living”.
The traditional keyword system that was being followed from about so long was showing some bad results, so there was a need of change in the algorithm. According to Google, now description will have more effect on rankings then keywords.
Amit Singhal, also said that Hummingbird is the company’s effort to match the meaning of queries with that of documents on the Internet. This change has occurred due to high quantity of internet users joining everyday. So, there was a need of better and powerful algorithm that could bear this increase of users. So, to make it better for users Google has made this historic change.
Hummingbird is primarily aimed at giving Google’s search engine a better grasp at understanding concepts instead of mere words. As you may observe that most of people enter sentences for searching any particular thing then a keyword, so Google made this “Hummingbird” named changes so that they could aim on description of article then on keyword.
Additionally, there is affect on Google’s “Knowledge Graph,” an encyclopedia-like box that increasingly appears at the top or alongside the search results, and Google Now is working as virtual assistant that tailors key information suited to each user’s interest, habits & location. For example, there’s a Knowledge Graph “card,” or information box, for the Eiffel Tower, and Knowledge Graph knows that it’s a tower, that it has a height, that it’s in Paris, etc. and so Google can anticipate you might want to know some of those facts.
Caffeine algorithm was more focused on indexing and crawling websites so as to bring out results fast. But this algorithm has just changed the entire tradition of Google that was followed from very long.
This algorithm has adversely affected the low rank websites and bring down there web searches, moved down the page and removed some of them.
I hope you liked this post. So, do share it with every one to spread this news about latest Google Algorithm change naming “Hummingbird”.

What is Success ?

Achievement of an action within a specified period of time. Success can also mean completing an a objective or reaching goal. Success can be expanded to encompass an entire project or be restricted to a single component of a project or task. It can be achieved within the workplace, or in an individual`s personal life.

For example, if an individual`s personal goal is to be accepted in a new career, success would occur after the individual has been officially accepted into his or her new place of employment.
